March, 1997
With Craig Kilborn (host), A. Whitney Brown, Brian Unger and Lizz Winstead.
Craig:
Was this Champ's first win?
A. Whit:
We should make it clear that no animals were hurt in the filming of this story.
But where are the PETA protesters when you really need them? They're outside of
cancer treatment centers protesting because guinea pigs are being used as guinea
pigs.
Brian:
Right on, Brown. It's emotional abuse. Imagine the ridicule these dogs
face when they go back to their neighborhoods, they're actually praying to
God (which by the way is "dog" spelled backwards) that no other
dog sees them on TV.
Lizz:
Yup, this whole dog thing has come under scrutiny Brian and Whitney, some say
that dressing up dogs and making them look sexy is wrong, that they're not ready
for it, that they're being pushed...
A. Whit:
I don't think they're sexy...who thought I said they were sexy? Brian's the one
who thinks they're sexy.
Brian:
No, I didn't say they were sexy...Lizz said they were sexy.
Lizz:
I didn't say they were sexy...
(they argue for another
second)
Craig:
...Because I was just wondering if it was Champ's first win.
